I have around 25 years of experience in academic research, training and L&D in different industries in India & Japan. Along with social and cultural research I have worked in corporates for over two decades.
I have often felt the gap between the required employability skills, Industrial need and the education delivered in the Schools, Universities and Polytechnics in India. A similar kind of need was felt in Japan while preparing Japanese National for their overseas projects and assignments(Pre-departure training). With the intention of reducing the gab and meeting the requirement I conducted multiple Cross-Culture Understanding, Soft Skills, Corporate English, Communication & Management training during the 11 of years of stay in Japan, along with research at Nagoya University. And, Post my return to India n 2013, I have been working on the same mission of reducing the gap by training employees working at different levels in a Japanese or Non-Japanese Organization .
